i was watching "The Family Man" on channel 5 jus now... it was part of a movie marathon by channel 5... watched "Love Actually" before that...
i had some tots while watching the shows...
i think everyone is somehow or rather caught up with pursuing monetary wealth... position... status... many a time neglecting what reallie matters to them... probably they din even realise that (*hmm? denise is blogging too at this moment.. how odd... 3.35am... and i am blogging too) where was i? ya... ppls probably din even realise in the first place that they are pursuing smth tangible... some that they feel is what they want... but in actual fact... wad they reallie need and can keep forever is family, warmth, and love. Its hard to differentiate between need and wants these days... esp so when living in a metropolitan singapore... we end up spending too much time and effort to attain these "goals" and forgot abt the softer side of life... the intangibles... things that cant be measured by tagging it with a $ sign...
most of my friends wanna get married ard 30... only after they have the money... the house... the car... etc etc... basically the "standards of society"... haha... but when ppls ask me i will jus say... hmm... nth is fixed...cus i dun reallie need all tt stuff... actuallie i would prefer to have kids when i'm young... so tt at least my age gap will not be tt big with them... and also i can play with them as i'm still active... i love kids... =)
