my progamme is running now.. it takes quite some time for it to generate the 3d model... so in the meantime... i checked my mail.. replied to emails.. check out some hotel prices.. flight prices... gonna fly to london sometime during national day to celebrate national day at the singapore embassy.. guess tt will be quite a cool experience to celebrate national day at some foreign mission.. i guess it will be quite wen xin? *heart warming... haha.. cus all singaporeans will gather there... yup.. *hopefully we can get time off... =)
shucks.. i miss home alittle already... i've been in Manchester for close to 3 weeks le... sometimes it seems like time passes so fast that i've already been here for close to 3 weeks... but sometimes wen i think i still have like more than 2 mths here.. which is like 90 days?? i will begin to think tt its so long before i can return home.. haiz.. somedaes jus pass so slow wen u think of sg... but well.. i jus have to stay here.. =( *alrite.. it aint tt bad.. Cheer up Simon~~!!! lols... =)
hmm.. wen to the movies yesterdae nite after work... watched "The day after tomorrow"... yup... okok la.. aint too bad.. but the ending abit aburpt.. *i still wonder how come the weather cleared up in the end? it was supposed to last 16 weeks wasnt it? *pussling

okie.. read tis article on the straitstimes online the dae before... it ws an article on Asian countries should take on a Global leadership role.. it said tt tis century was a century of asians... Asian countries should rise up n lead the world.. tis article contained some facts n i agreed with some points n views.. but after reading it my conclusion was yes asian countries should play a bigger role in world affairs.. *its kinda intriguing that in the UN there's isnt one permanent seat that an asian country hold.. y i find it intriguing? cus asian population conributes to more than half of the world's population.. n yet in world affairs we r not consulted enough.. but my stand was still that the article was too directed in asian taking a global leadership role.. i'm more for a hand in hand... balance of power role.. i think both euro n asian countries should lead... not jus an asian dominated leadership...

went for a jog yest after my work... jus felt like running... so i wen back to my hostel to change into my shorts n shoes and ran... i ran around my hostel area... which is smthing like the size of ngee ann.. ya.. its was quite cold at first.. *i think it was about 15 degrees? especially i was running in shorts... i think i was the onlie guy running around in shorts on tt dae... most i think will wear track pants.. it was cold initially but later wen i'm warmed up... i got used to it... n ya.. i did perspire alittle.. ya.. jus a little.. *its kinda hard to perspire here cus its not hot at all...
so i ran around the hostel by myself with my mp3... ya.. the other two guys wen back to their rooms... dun think they're very into sports... probably more study kind... i din exercise for like 2 weeks already le... my body was like so restless.. and i tot everydae gg back to my room was kinda sianz... so i wen to run...
after running i wen over to the sports centre for the first time... it was quite big n old n english... i saw four tennis courts there... onlie one court had a few girls playing.. but their balls were flying all over the place... nothing exciting to see... so i jus walked on.. i've not been playing tennis for 3 weeks liaoz.. trying to find someone to play with me here.. but none of the two guys play n my lab ppls also dun play... i dun mind playing squash too.. but again... none of them plays... haiz.. =(
so jus walked on to the field.. *their field is very wide n open... theres like a few fields.. all of them having those carpet grass.. soft n short... ya... i stood there jus looking n absorbing the view... den i lay down on the soft grass to relax... =)
hmm... i think i'm more independent n not reallie afraid to go out on my own.. *i mean tis is like a foreign country.. n i actuallie jus wen out to run alone.. i also did not reallie know where i was running to... i jus ran.. yup.. haha.. its a small achievement.. =)haha.. i still remember wen i first came... i was like so wary of the ppls here... thay all look so different... all angmohs... den sometimes they look at u like some stranger... i remember wen go back to my dorm to sleep i will quickly shut my door.. dumb ya? haha.. dunno y also... like i din wan ppls to know i'm living there... haha.. but now i even know my neighbour's name n will say hi to him and other ppls who i meet... yup =)

todae's freakin cold... i think the temp outside is like 11 degrees... my hostel actuallie switched off the radiator in all our rooms.. they claim that it was summer n they dun on radiators in summer... i was like diaoz.. summer?? yah.. i know its ur summer but hello??? its cold at night u know? haiz.. for the past two nights i've been sleeping under my blanket n pullover.. *actuallie for the first night i tot it was cus my radiator spoil cus wen i touch it... it was not warm lor.. but wen i wen to the reception to ask.. they say they switched it off cus it was summer... diaoz..
ya... so hav been sleeping under my blanket n pullover.. n its still abit cold.. i dun even move around in the bed... cus the other areas of the bed will be cold.. onlie the areas in contact with my body will be warm...
i even closed e window n its still cold.. n also the walls... cus my bed is against the wall.. so wen i sleep i will sleep away from the wall.. cus the wall is cold can? diaoz.. =(
den todae wen i walked here.. *the uni.. e weather was also quite cold.. todae is a cold dae i guess.. the breeze blowing at u... brr... diaoz.. todae wen i talk will have abit of smoke coming out from my mouth...

yap.. feeling happie now... haha.. dunno why also.. maybe its because i have 2 hrs of free time?? yup.. the computer is running.. its generating a 3d model of the protein.. n it takes around 2 hrs for it to generate.. its generating from all the particles tt i have selected... so far ard 1500 particles.. =) all the hard work.. all the computer commands.. all tt is paying off in 2 hrs.. =) but its still the prelimary model.. so.. yup.. 2 hrs of free time�!!! where to find such free time manz.. haha..
hmm.. listening to my mp3 now... yup.. jus got the songs changed wen i was in Scotland (*wen to Scotland for the weekend to visit my friends).. =) haha.. listen until sian le ma.. so wen there.. sun bainz get some songs from them... yup.. *listening to sweet dream by jiang na la... from the show diao man nu smth.. nice song..
hmm.. wen to Scotland for the weekend.. meet up with friends there.. took the train.. the train was like so nice.. it has comfortable seats.. it has a big table infront of the seat.. it has toliets n a shop on the train.. it has music tt u can plug into near the arm rest... yup.. not bad..

okie.. tts lamz.. haha.. but the dinner i had on sat nite at their place was the best dinner so far in UK.. its chinese food�!!! yea.. chinese food�!!! u know its chinese food�?? its not potatos.. its not some fish n chips.. its not some lassangue...er.. dunno how to spell tt.. been eating potatos everydae lor... its reallie everydae without fail lor.. potatos is like rice to them i think.. i'm getting sick of potatos liaoz lor.. if i eat fish n chips i will not eat the chips.. if i eat something with potatos i will tell them not to give me potatos.. wah.. scary lor... every meal sure hav potatos.. sometimes u dun even realise tt ur actuallie eating potatos... sometimes they r so evil they hid it in ur soup.. they cut small small put inside.. arr.. evil�!! lols... cunning manz.. haha..
newae i haven had ne potato nightmares yet.. so hai hao.. lols.. ohya.. the dinner.. it was a chinese food.. haha.. dunno how many times i said chinese food.. but its chinese food.. we ordered like a feast.. around 6 dishes... n everyone had fried rice... rice�!!! u know rice?? not potatos.. haha.. yup.. top up with some soft drink only found in Scotland.. yup.. perfect�!! *shit.. feeling hungery now.. mus go cook my food later in the common room liaoz...
yup.. ta pao the food back to their cottage.. bought some drinks for the night too.. played heart attack... i alwaes kanna cus alwaes so slow.. diaoz.. den took alot of stupid poses.. even a video clip tt was secretly flimed without mi knowing lor.. diaoz.. haha.. but the clip was damn funnie.. haha.. so dumb lor.. lols =)
